Hello dear Cuties. I have not been around for 3 days as DH and I went to Addo Elephant Park which is 4 hours drive away. We are blessed to be so close to such a wonderful experience. Hugs Sarah.

There were lots of babies and sometimes I felt we were a bit too close, as the mothers get very protective.

It is so good to see these beautiful creatures in such a splendid setting.

I did have a little snigger when I looked at your first pic of the Giraffe and thought of those 'caption this' competitions that you see in magazines, etc. It's like the giraffe is saying "I shall have to have a word with those quality control chaps. Fancy putting in telephone wires at this height!!"

It's a small world. Many moons ago I used to keep several species of Australian parakeets. One was a Rainbow Lorikeet who's name was 'Dubbo.' I took this name for him from the name of the town,

Thank you all for your comments. The giraffe were right by the Park fence when we arrived - it was such a lovely greeting. They have now introduced a pride of lion to the park but unfortunately we did not see them. ***4 all. Hugs Sarah.
