Now the place mat is not sewn together yet. I am going to post a few different pictures. Please give me your thoughts. Should I use one big and one small cut work butterfly or just two small ones? Should I place the daisy scrolls along the edge or at and angle? Cut work butterfly under scroll or in the corner? Decisions decisions...

I like the idea of both sizes of butterfly, and I would think about placement of dishes, glasses and such so I can see the design, Have Fun!

I would personally prefer the designs to be seen when plates, glasses and cutlery are placed on the placemat. So I would put them either on an angle or on the sides. Love and blessings Chris

I love flowers and butterflys. I would think of placement and myself probably flower at sides and butterfly corner. Very lovely designs.

Thanks, I made the daisy design on my computer I wanted it to look like the small daisies on their wedding invitation.

What is wrong with the way you have it now? I think you've chosen some very nice designs!! If this is just your sample, I would put the flowers around the outside edges and the butterflies in the corners so that you can still see the designs once the plates and other odds and ends are added to the placemats. I love the yellow with your thread colors!

I decided to place the daisy scrolls down the sides and one cut work butterfly in the upper left corner and one in the lower right corner. Thanks for all the help everyone. My next night off I will embroider them out and post a picture of the final version.
