My PR 600 needs to go to the repair shop. Boo hoo.....
I am down to using 4 of the six needles. My jobs are backed up ( of course)..
It costs $ 200 to walk in the shop for a general cleaning and parts are extra.
I just wanted to share with my Cutie friends my woes...
On a lighter note, I will have it back within a day !

Well I think it costs more than that in the UK so maybe its not too bad. Hope the final bill is OK and you don't have to wait too long

Thank you for your reply. I spoke with the repair man today and he thinks it can be ready the same day I drop it off. Two hours one way, not looking forward to that.
I did not know that repair in the UK was difficult.

I am spoiled I guess. Wouldn't be nice if all our repairs could be done in one day at a reasonable cost ?
Thanks again, Bonie

yep you are, I want a 6 needle!
Everything in the UK costs more than anywhere else!! That's why it's called Rip-Off Britain. No, don't get me started otherwise I shall have to build myself another soapbox.

Ah, but think about how happy you both will be when she's up and purring like a kitten. ;)

Yes !!!!! That is my joy, getting her back and up to speed.
The hard part is calling clients and telling them things will not be ready on time. This is a first for me.
Four needles do work, but the machine is not putting out the quality I want.
Thanks for listening to me rant....

I had to wait 3 weeks for mine to come back. I just know you will love the way it will hum when it returns. Hope you can catch up with your orders quickly.

So basically, it is Boo Hoo (machine taken to repairer)........Boo Hoo, Boo Hoo (handing over the cheque for the repairs)...................and then, Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (re-installing at home)........followed by Deep Glooooooooom (catching up on delayed jobs).
