THIS IS A BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC, ENORMOUS THANK YOU TO "RESCUER"

Out of the kindness of her heart "Rescuer" offered to help chase up what was happening to an order I placed with Designing Threads last Wednesday 8th May.

To my surprise she rang the company which is in Washington State from her state of Utah! Fortunately, she found out what was happening with the owner, due to an illness.

To say she has gone beyond the call of duty, so to speak, is an understatement.

I just wanted everyone to know how fantastic it is to know that someone on the other side of the world is willing to help out an Aussie!

THANKS IN ABUNDANCE! The lady of the site has promised to send the designs today and an extra set for keeping me waiting for so long.

Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

Chris how wonderful. Rescuer is always willing to help and knows sooo much about the technology that frazzles me at times. Glad to know she was able to help.

Hi Angie, so nice to see you! Yes, she is always willing to help and it amazes me too on how much she knows. She must be much younger than us he he he! Love and blessings Chris

I am thankful the good Lord blessed me with the trials that turned me into a computer "geek" and I am also thankful for the trust so many Cuties place with me.
Chris, I am not so sure about the "much younger bit" lol
Hugs to you both!

As one of my favourite characters from the "Vicar of Dibley" says -

" brillo pads" !!!!!!!

Caroline, you, as an englishwoman will appreciate that comment I am sure, and I know Dennis will too and of course Sue and all the other Brits! Love and blessings Chris

I've just been LAUGHING OUT LOUD as I looked up some of the Vicar of Dibley bits on You Tube and you have got to look up the one called

IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME! Its the wedding scene of Harry (played by Richard Hermitage - who also is the dwarf Thorin in The Hobbit and he is brilliant in that too!) and Geraldine - I laughed till I cried!

Love and blessings Chris

Chris,
You have always helped Cuties. You are generous, kind, forgiving, as well as talented. I enjoy reading your posts and I love seeing your projects.
It really was only a few minutes of my time. I would gladly help again, if needed.
I am very happy it got sorted. I do hope the site owner recovers and is soon back on top of things.
I look forward to the projects you create with the new designs you receive!
Hugs to a Cute Aussie friend from "rescuer"

I'm so glad that you could help me out. I should receive the designs sometime today - it's now 10.00am as I write this. I'm off to my local shops for a Cappuccino and to do the crosswords, jumbled words, cryptic and the easy one!

I will then go and buy a laundry basket trolley for our darling daughter Amy - as everytime I go to her place I help her hang out the washing and I always have to find a chair or something outside to put the washing basket on! It sucks having to bend down all the time, my back doesn't like it!.

I'll certainly show the designs I'll be making once I get the little snowmen! Thanks once again for all your help.

Love and blessings Chris

My back doesn't like laundry at all. I wonder if I get a note from my doctor...lol
You are very welcome!
Hugs!

Chris I also hang out my daughters washing and she has no trolley that is why I garden for her also, and make sure under the clothes lines has lovely clean weed free lawn...don't know if she has picked up on that reasoning as yet, but I love her dearly and I just heard from DH that she is coming for dinner tonight and bringing seafood...who am I to complain hehehehe....
by kezza2sew 17 May 2013
you see I just put the clothes on the lawn and yes bend up and down:::::oh well.
by dennis999 17 May 2013
Hey, Rescuer............you should send all your laundry and ironing to Chris...................she loves it..............and if she has time to visit the local shops for a Cappuccino and sit there doing all those crosswords, then she's certainly got time to do your ironing!!!
by rescuer 17 May 2013
ROFL
Dennis, you do know how to get yourself into trouble don't you? I could send my laundry -- but I think it would be cheaper to buy new clothes. LOL

It is so wonderful to see us as human beings giving thanks and showing appreciation when someone does something to lend a hand. Rescuer has indeed the correct identity name as she has come to my rescue a time or two as well! Thanks Chris and Rescuer for reminding us to give of ourselves and to give thanks.....big hug to you two and all others...

Sadly, she has not yet received her designs, yet. Apparently, the designer is having some technical difficulties. We can still hope, right?
Hugs!

Hi Kim, no I haven't received them, each time my email "pings" I go check it out! I live in hope! Love Chris

P.S. It's now 10.00am Saturday morning, so due to the time difference, maybe I'll received them later in the day.
