I had a few moments to teach my little friend how to applique, It turned out almost perfect. I seems to trim too close at times. Here is what we did. The pattern is from 5 star fonts and we used 1 layer of batting and 1 of heat resistant material.

Hi Chris, this has turned out beautifully! My favourite style of embroidering is Applique, then cross-stitch! Love and blessings Chris

I have one in the machine, We were limited on time, only so much since they were heading back. I hope she will come back next year.

I some times have the same problem, I do a satin stitch a little wider on my normal sewer, if it looks out of place then I repeat on opposite end so they match.. love the cross hatich design, looking forward to seeing the velvet one
