Hi, I'm new to the site but have come across it lots when searching for designs so I'm hoping someone can help me. I've searched high and low for an embroidery design of the chinese symbol for "beautiful". The closest I've got is beauty and what I'm told is an incorrect version. It's for one of my best customers and I really don't want to disappoint her but just not sure it's doable :/ Thanks for your help

You just cannot find a better site than Cute for the help that you Cuties provide. Now I don't know if this is a correct interpretation....................it's all Greek to me...............but either way, it was a wonderful effort on your part.
That's the problem, it could say " flying hot dogs" for all I know. When I used Google images on the translation they all had minor differences...could be like the difference between y'all and ya'll.
Thank you :) The customer is chinese herself, and has had her dad who knows the language and text very well and he's sent over an example. That looks like it would be right for the first half, but there are 2 symbols afterwards apparently which is what's proving difficult. It's looking like having it digitised may be the only option but the cost hardly seems worth it for the item she's after having embroidered lol!
I saw a translation of beautiful like this 美麗 but it said there are 12 versions of beautiful in traditional Chinese!

Welcome, Lindsey. I'm glad that you are here. A very sweet and long time "Cutie" has her own website that I have linked for you below. She doesn't have beautiful on her site that I saw, but if you contact her, I'm sure she could help you if only to determine what you have here is correct. She's super sweet and helpful.
