This is not as cute as dollydk's #17gator,in DBC, but it was just one my daughter saw, as she was fishing with her husband. I told her I would have been ready to come home.

Your daughter was probably wondering how many handbags or pairs of shoes she could get out of him (the alligator.......not her husband).

Hey folks, Gators really don't like the taste of humans. As long as you maintain your distance you are safe.

Toogie, Google "Urquhart Alligator" to see the 13 foot gator my nephew bagged. Wow, he said his buddy would give up fishing and deer hunting if they would let him do that all the time.

I LOVE this part of the story

And don’t underestimate how important calm water is when your 16-foot johnboat is practically filled with a 13-foot gator as wide as the vessel in which you’re motoring back to land.
