28 May 2013:
Here is a little visual message for that little minx, Chris, and all her Capucchino-drinking mates in Down-Under Land. I've booked your boys in a few places in Earls Court, just so that they may feel at home and have sent up a few cases of tinney's in a cool-box to help reduce their stress. Could I suggest that those of a nervous disposition do not look for too long at the picture.

Dennis, This seems way too important to you. Perhaps you have two obsessions (sports and machine embroidery)? I'm concerned that this is taking time away from your stitching?

You make a good and valid point but in my defence, it was that Mrs. Pennifold who started it. Also, we don't get to win too many things over here, so have to make the most of these little blessings...lol. Now, as you say, back to the stitching!

He he he! I laughed so much I got the hiccups! WOW! 4 for 42 is impressive! I hope our fast spin bowlers have it in them too!
May the best team win! Love and blessings Chris

One swallow does not make summer... Don't want to be a wet blanket, just one of those Dutch sayings that came to mind. :)

A wise saying indeed and I somehow think that I shall have to return to eat my humble pie.

Hmmmpppphh.... yes, yes, yes!!!
Look at those Victory Fingers.
Our boys will come good one day. They did it once, they'll do it again. They'll have to eat more Weetbix for brekky. Just give them time and we'll be top-dogs again and the little pot of ashes will live in Australia forever and ever.

You are, of course, quite right. Australia is a great sporting nation and one that, sadly, I have not had the opportunity to visit.
Australia produces some great cyclists too

Regularly saw bits of tests in Headingley and Trent Bridge
