As I sit on hold with the insurance company trying to figure out where $1500 dollars went that I should get reimbursed for from my FSA account I remember what my sweet husband said to me yesterday. "You have a job. You are not a housewife. You are CFO of our company, Benefits plan coordinator....." It's true, I spend hours doing QuickBooks, handling expenses, taxes, medical and that doesn't include the laundry LOL! I carve out time for exercise so I can be healthy when I am blessed with grandchildren. And I play with you Cuties and my sewing machine whenever I can. I have to remind myself that I have worth : ) I hope you all feel worthy too!

Good for you! They say the devil is in the details and I really believe that when I've done too much paperwork or being on hold. Hope you got sewing time after all that.

Have you ever see the "What is Mother worth?" essay?/ Very nice, listing everything we do/have done with a monetary value which ,of course, adds up to thousands but ends with something like what more valuable job could you have than raising a compassionate, kind responsible, etc. citizen who thinks you are priceless. I don't have the source here at the cottage but think it was somehting for one Mother's day (a year I needed it!!).

Each year on mother's day, salary.com calculates the monetary worth of a mother.....take a look if you dare. ;)

You have worth in so many ways. As a wife, as a mother, as a Cutie and the list goes on. And that list with few changes fits each and every one of us. And I am glad that you reminded me of this.

My husband made comment a long time ago.
"I know your job and I don't want it".
And have you noticed that our job is 24 hours. Thanks sewmom to remind us that were are not JUST housewives.
