Friends, I need the strenght of your prayers. I know they help. Again today I got into a discussion with my boss. The story why takes too long to type here. But could you pray and ask that I can find a new job soon (in these difficult times, I know) To be honest I'm not happy anymore at my work. I love the content of my job, but I do not feel the "excitement" when I enter the office. Mainly 'cos I worked so hard last year to get my promotion (and of course this means higher salary), and in January I was noticed I got the promotion, but they re-evaluated the levels, and my "new" job is on the same level as the one I had. So no higher salary too. Horizontal promotion it was called...- to me this is not decided on one day, so at least they could have mentioned it before - And ever since then I get so easily angry, and feel sometimes so unlucky..

The discussion today ended that my boss putted me out of her office during the discussion...Maybe it is me.. I don't know.. But I feel I will not get a honest change anymore at the firm.Quiting without an other job is no option. We have things to pay. So I ask, send some strenght and luck (?) to my side so I can have a new start elsewhere. Thank you

I do hope things improve for you and will keep you in my prayers. I have been in your situation and can relate to your feelings. It is not easy to go to work and dislike your job and the management that runs it. May God provide you with the correct answers for your situation. Hugs, Mary

Dear friend, you will remain in my prayers until life is again good for you. I hope and pray that your job situation will be resolved in a positive way -- very soon.
You are strong enough already to survive the job you have and search for another. Hang on -- change will happen soon!

This sort of thing is happening all over the world. I will certainly pray that things resolve themselves and that you can go on working. Love and blessings Chris

I feel so bad for you and will pray that this will get better by either finding a job or maybe other changes. I can not imagine having to go to work daily hating it. I have never understood why bosses could not be kind and occasional give a pat on the back. Most employees would be more productive that way. I was fortunate that the last 8 years of employment I worked for a wonderful boss that said "thank you" at the end of day. It was a pleasure going to work. I wish and pray the same for you.

At least you have a job-sorry you are unhappy where you are at, but there are plenty of people that have lost their jobs due to down sizing and hard economic times-that would give anything to be drawing a regular paycheck again. Good luck in your search for better-just a matter of being the right person for the job and being at the right place at the right time .

Being in the position Linda is in can be detrimental to physical and mental health. If you have not experienced that sort of treatment from an employer then it is hard to understand the stress. I hope she does find a more pleasant situation in the near future.

I will pray for our entire situation. I worked twelve years in a not fun job with unpleasant people and unfair policies and stayed because I had two boys to raise and no child support forthcoming. Through very unusual circumstances I was able to leave and I told them quite clearly what I thought of how they had treated me all those years - for the women who couldn't afford to tell them off and leave. Oppression is hard on your soul and hard on your health. I hope you will find something better that will use your skills and they will appreciate you.

Dear Linda, I have not been on the site for a couple of days. I am just so sorry to read your post. You are such a strong person - keep that chin up high and I am sure that things will work out for you. Love and hugs Sarah.
