I've now finished all the Snowman coasters from Designing Threads. This is the company that I had to wait for over 10 days to get the designs. Thanks to Rescuer who rang the lady several times I finally received them. She offered me a free set - that has not arrived! Anyway here are all the 8 coasters. I've just repeated 3 as there were 5 in the set. All done in the 4x4 hoop. Love and blessings Chris

Hi Michelle, I started back in February! I have made 8 eye glass/cosmetic cases, 8 snowmen tea towels, 8 snowmen treat bags and now I've finished the 8 snowmen coasters.

I am studying Italian this year and want to get stuck into that more, so I'm trying to get all the little gifts ready for my annual Christmas ladies lunch done months in advance. Love Chris

Thanks Karen, well, you know, that is my intention!!!!!! I always seem to gravitate back here to my sewing room!

You should practice your Italian IN your sewing room. Get designs from sites using Italian instructions and sew patterns from those instructions. Change your browser to translate pages into Italian...
My French is not good, but I DO practice it. LOL

Excellent multi-tasking Mrs. P. They look very nice. I would even go as far as to say that you may deserve a Capuccino now that you have six months until Christmas.......lol.

Every time I read your comments I cackle to myself!!!!! My husband must think I'm nuts giggling away down here in my sewing room. It's funny you calling me that Mrs. P. I get that a lot from himself! I had my cappuccino today with Ophelie having her baby 'cino and she gets a great big soft marshmallow too! I just love having one every day, it just sort of starts it off right! I'm sure I'll find some other little "thing" to make too before Christmas. And I've got a couple of little surprises coming! Love Chris

The set is wonderful! I can see why you wanted it. I am sorry it was such trouble for you to get it -- but I am loving the way you stitched them out! Excellent work! Let me know if you ever need me to ring somebody in the states...I had the easiest part of this project for sure and I love what you did with the designs you did receive. I would gladly help you again if needed
Never give up hope on humanity -- you may yet receive the "free" set promised.

Thanks rescuer - I live in hope! I am a complete Optimist so I would never give up. It doesn't really matter anyway, I've got so many designs I will never use them all. Thanks once again for being such a wonderful liaison "officer"! Love Chris

Ooh! I'd go tomorrow if I could. I just love Italy and that's why I'm learning the language. It's getting harder now that we are going into the different tenses, but hey, it takes children up to 3-4 years to learn to converse properly, so there's hope for me yet. Love Chris
