What is the next new product that you have decided to try out.? I'm interested in the Texure magic stuff that shrinks up and wrinkles when you apply steam. So that is on my to order list. There is always something new out there. What has caught your eye?

I first used it at an Anita Goodesign conference last year. Thought it was pretty cool. I did buy some and have used it in projects - mostly as applique material so far. It is quite fun.

I'm going to try the flowers at embroidery garden and use the texture magic
I saw them in the newsletter. They should be very nice. And I know she is planning other designs that use it too.

No idea but when at Sewing for Pleasure at the NEC in the UK when Sue, Scottie, Eggyannie and myself met I bought some plastic stuff to iron onto fabric to make it waterproof. It will get used for something . The plastic stuff is new to the UK if I am correct. Sorry but I don't sound very specific

We call this plastic stuff Heat N' Bond Vinyl over in Canada and the US. It has been here for years.

If anyone has used this product, I would be curious to know how it washes afterwards. Does it stay the same after washings???

Steam has the same effect on me after I've got out of the bath!!!!! Seriously though, one thing that I would like is a single cross-reference chart that covers all of the thread colours/weights/material that are commonly available in the UK. I do have the manufacturers colour charts but trying to cross-match them is a complete nightmare. I have found various documents to download but these only cover a small proportion of the available colours. I know, I know, I should have stuck with one manufacturer but when I purchased my machine the supplier gave me dozens of cones of Fujix King Star poly which is not cross-referenced anywhere! Since then I have purchased demon deals off eBay, most of which has been Madeira rayon and polyneon. Sorry for waffling on!

Dennis this may help you with cross reference of thread. Sorry I don't know what is available in the UK.

Right now I don' have any particular product in mind. There are a couple of special feet for the sewing machine I may want to order in the future. So many embroidery files still waiting for me to stitch out.

Be sure to clean your machine really well after using 100% cotton thread as it is SUPER linty! It does make beautiful free standing lace trims. HUgs. Nan W

I want to follow Vicki and the sparkles, I hope to do some smoking here in the very near future and make some sundresses.

I am in the process of buying some of this Krinkle Magic. Have you seen Jenny Haskins 'I feel Pretty' wall hanging using this magic product...I want it but whether I get it or not is another thing...I thought I may be able to use other flower similar designs to use the Krinkle magic...trail and error will tell...
