thanks to all the cuties who helped me to save the bib. This is the finished bib. The back is a pc of a towel just like the instructions call for, more absorbent too but I agree with Michelle it is rather small newborn to 3-6 months maybe so 6-12 lbs. I will have to see what I can do to enlarge the pattern. All in all a good learning experience for me & I can see where this style of bib would be good for 6-18 & even 24 months old as it does cover the front well.

I made a couple of these baprons for a customer a couple of years ago. I just spoke to her yesterday and she said they are fantastic (I did them in corduroy - single sided) I asked her about the fit and she said that her daughter is now 3 (quite petite) and it still just fits. I think that the sizing can be very deceptive so I would recommend to my customers that the original bapron size fits 6-15 months. Just my thoughts - great work on your pictured bapron.

Might the pattern have been in centimeters instead of inches? Just curious. That is a mighty tiny bib. But the kids have to have their dolls, so a matching bib for the baby isn't a bad thing!! Looks great.
