Wow did I make a great find today....My John had to go to the VA and since it had to do with his eyes he wanted me to go along. On the way home he took me to a few thrift stores. Didn't find anything I wanted at them but when we were almost home he said lets stop at one we have not gotten anything since they moved to new store a year ago. Well we went in and I looked on counter and they had a large paper bag and on top of it said $2.00 per bag. I told John and the lady behind the counter said that it was in craft part. Well I went back and there was a whole bin of zippers...So put them in bag I got 64 cream zippers ... 40 white zippers...and 49 black nylon zippers...thought that was a great deal for the 2.00 but as we started to walk away John found a whole bolt of wash away interfacing....put it in bag ...so I think I got the deal of the year.

Yes that is what I said when I walked back and saw the zippers....I even ask the lady there if it was all right to take them all....she said if they are in Craft fill the bag.

I know ... I don't find this good of a deal often. They were trying to cut some of the space they had their crafts in. The interfacing was on the top shelf so I didn't see it (I am short) so he looked up there. I told him he made the day for me. We were in Dade City Florida on our way home from Tampa.

Ha Ha Ha....He hates to go shopping but the little extra I make selling my items made goes back into my hobby. Also we do fun things with the extra money each of us earn.

I was thinking the same thing. Your husband has a nose for bargains and would be invaluable to have. My hubby supports my hobbies completely. The house is always a diaster because who has the time for housework when there's sewing, embroidering, quilting, crocheting, to do!?

Now that's what I call a bargain Joann. Our op shop has zips occasionally and I always buy them. We never get interfacing though. Well done to you both. Love Chris

I know I am always on the lookout for thread and zippers. The interfacing is wonderful topping to the cake. I found small pieces before but never a whole bolt that never has been opened.

I have found a couple good deals before but think this is the best one....One time I found a hoop for my Janome and also a cloth setter and thought it was a pretty good deal

Hi I would say you hit the jackpot. I know you had a fun time. I am trying to wean myself of going to the thrift store and the 2 fabric stores in route. I had an avalanche of fabric come flying down off the bed here
