This is what our tornado sirens were all about around 4:00 yesterday afternoon.......they went off 3 times in 30 minutes.......this pic is taken about 6 blocks from our house and it got within 4 blocks....I didn't see it, I was shut in a basement room with the 6 kitties......yep I was able to round them all up and get them in the room with me!! Our smelly cat used the litter box while we were cooped up in the room......let's just say our safe room needs a gas mask....LOL!!

Yes, indeed...I have a pretty deep puncture wound on my hand, as Sammi got scared when I was carrying him down the stairs and he clawed my hand with his back paw....that was the only injury...LOL! Hurts like heck today though.........

I know, my heart was thumping out of my chest, I couldn't see anything but just kept hearing the siren go off, it was nerve shattering!!

You might want to disinfect that puncture wound. Kitties can really get into some bad stuff...like their litter box that requires a gas mask.

Oh yes, I had a bite wound several years ago that almost landed me in the hospital.....8 hours after the bite I had to be taken to the ER to have the junk drained......As soon as I got upstairs I peroxided it and put neosporin on it. I noticed when I took my bath today I also have 3 fairly deep claw marks on my chest.......I was like a momma cub, nothing was going to thwart me getting these cats to safety...LOL!

What a picture. I don't like tornadoes no matter where they are. I am thankful we live in this time in history when there is a little bit more warning than say even 10 years ago. I am happy that your and your babies were ok. I am so sad for those who lost their homes and livelihood..
