A short while ago Dennis999 asked if anyone had the same problem as he did with the Brother multi needle machines which was not sewing in the order that he expected. Finally due to a problem with my Galaxie 3000 I phoned my dealer and asked the question that dennis999 had asked here as its a problem I have too with my PR650. The reply was that the machine reads the design that has been uploaded and even if the digitiser has put the colours in a sewing order the machine will decide for itself that there is often a quicker way of sewing out so it changes the order of sewing. So if you have a PR machine from Brother who ever is operating it needs to check the sewing order out and make sure that the correct threads are in place or you can end up with some very interesting sew outs. It is easy to alter the order of colours and order of sewing. So thanks Dennis for asking the question.
Thank you again Asterixsew and indeed all the other Cuties who gave their advice in my original post.
Can it be you have allocated colours to a number of needles? In that case put your colours in sequence from the first "free" needle, skipping the set colours. .
