New lamps for old. I decided it was high time I changed the poinsettia cover on my lamp for something more seasonal - after all it we are now nearly half-way to next Christmas!

They are from IKEA. I'm not sure if they are available on-line though.
by bevintex 21 Jun 2013
No you have to get them in the store. I bought 6 last time I was there and have 3 undecorated, these designs may be just what I need. I like the bee. Sometimes they have the lamps on ebay but they are usually overpriced and the shipping is also expensive.

Ladies bad news: IKEA has discontinued this lamp :o(
The new ones have a round shape (diameter) and you have not so much space for the designs. tauberschmitt has found the same lamp as Grönö at another furniture store so maybe you will have luck too :o

I'm no where near an IKEA. Seems like if you knew the style of it...it may be possible to find online.

I'm additced to the design from Urban Thread :o)
The dragon fly looks wonderful and has this touch of summer and sun.
For all who are interested in the lamp: This was the lamp Grönö from IKEA but they discontinued this model. The new ones is called KVARNÅ and has a round diameter. So you have not so much space for your designs. Sorry for the bad pic (was in a hurry) but you can see the difference there. The diameter is 10cm in both cases but the flat surface offers more room for decoration.
Glad that tauberschmitt found another source for the old model :o)
Greetings, Bettina

Looks great, Sue. I was also unable to resist buying some of those bug designs from Urban Threads. I really love the ladybug one!

Pam they have discontinued them at IKEA. I was very lucky that tauberschmitt found the same one at another big furniture-company. The ones from IKEA were made in India (the better version) and in Hungary. IKEA has a new model in a round shape (for a pic scroll down a little).
Greetings, Bettina
