Lace Cross Bookmark from Embroidery Library - Easter Lace Bookmark & Tassel Design Pack - size 4.25" x 7" approx. Embroidered on Sulky heavyweight WSS using 80/12 needle and a cheap unnamed thread. I have made this for a lovely Irish friend's June 17th birthday.

I like this one Pat because I never get any bother with it. The thread is the most trouble, it needs watching the whole time but . . . it was only 20p for 2000 metres so why should I complain!

Thanks Sqdancer. Yes, I have stitched this one a few times, all with good results & I was dubious about using the cheap thread. It was the colour that attracted me to it for this bookmark . . it worked out well I am pleased to say.

This was posted in 2008. She states the design is from Embroidery Library. If they don't have it anymore, then it is not available. You'd have to do a search on their website to find out.
It is still available and I just bought that cross design in two sizes :-)

I think somebody pulls it back up every fall to find out where to find it in their downloads for working on Christmas presents. This is 3 or 4 years now that it has shown up for us!
