Embroidered bookmark
hi guys, ive been asked to make a bookmark for my nephews teacher as I had a design from here, ive stitched it out but think I have done it wrong lol, can anyone suggest how I do it correctly, please help, Charlie ( uk)

Lots of ways that things may have gone wrong. Definitely, we need a picture. Is it lace or applique, for example, and have you added a backing fabric to hide the back of the embroidery? If that's what went wrong, the fabric for the backing needs to be placed under the hoop before the final (outline) satin stitch.
