Embroidered Scripture Quilt - Made this over the weekend for a friend who is gravely ill. I wanted to "cover her with prayer". The blocks were just too white so I decided to add some strips of lace hem binding to frame them all. I like the way it looks and may use it in future projects. I know I'm going to be asked where I got the designs, but I don't remember since it was years ago. But they were free.

This is really nice, and peaceful. That was incredibly nice of you. I made a quilt with a real light stitched flower set long ago, and used a decorative stitch on my sewing machine to divide the "blocks" like you did with the lace. Your resourcefulness looks very nice.
