it is a light weight vinyl with cloth backing and than I lined it also.. There is a zipper pocket on the inside back and 2 pockets on the front lining. We weren't sure how well this would stitchout the design but it did great..Did a rough cut of the flap and than embroideried the design. After that finished made the flap to size centering the design. My friend Mary and I have been doing these and she just cuts them out and we start sewing. Actually she gets more done than I do as I work a full time job as well and she is retired.
