I think your pillows are really nice! Does anyone know the copyright laws for auto emblems? I made a trash bag for my friend's car with the Mercedes emblem and she is afraid to use it in her car. I think I read "anything as long as it is not used for commercial purpose". Does that sound right?

The car companies are very strict with their logos and even the pictures of their cars. My husband has a 1971 Mustang Mach 1. We do have a picture of HIS car that is on shirts we wear. We cannot use the design for anyone else.

I tried to find out on the internet, and 'no commercial use' was best I could find.
Hmmm....if my friend chooses to use her car trash bag, and Mercedes confiscates...do you suppose they would take the trash also? haha
