Part of a big project....
A young lady from our family reunion in the states will
become 30 years - and all the relatives were asked to give a piece for a quilt as a surprise. Also they will present a
picture quilt to Kristin - look what I have been embroidering two days long - hope she (they) will like it

Yes, I am eager to see it too. They founded a secret group on facebook and will start with a "picture quilt" and surprise Kristin - the fabric quilt might take longer to do because many people seem to be involved but I'll do my utmost to put the picture in here - or tell you where to see on facebook if available

No Marie is going to New Zealand for one year on July 28 while Monique already is in America. She is working in a YMCA camp in Massachusetts for the summer time but at the moment I try to get her a flight ticket from Boston to Wisconsin (and Minnesota) where Kristin andthe other relatives live. But she only can go middle of August when the time in Camp is over and then the birthday is over too but she looks forward to meet the people again

Thank you so much for your kind comments. So it really is worth the work and time spent on it..and all my fear that something could go wrong in last instant. I find it always very "exciting" to embroider fonts because of the many tiny stitches causing trouble with the fabric (holes and such...). This time everything was ok :-) By the way I forgot to mention that the centre (Memories made in every moment.......) is a design from Embroitique. It stitched out perfectly - a nd I love their designs and fonts (to be bought but reasonable).
