Topstitch needle==big looping
Change to 11 needle---loops
Change tension----on top--looping
Thread tries to slip out of first tension disc even when I place a finger there to keep it in and then it hooks around bobbin winder
Stitching on denim with cut away stabilizer
Taking copious notes as I proceed to show repair person--threading AND REthreading--
Changing size of needles and where I purchased them--stitching EVERY variable I can possibly think of--
BOTH machine and I go to repair person tomorrow so he and she can watch ME SEW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you have a good result. I am fussing with lighter fabrics and my 700 II. I am going back to thicker fabrics today and will not even attempt FSL on this machine. I have a feeling it will go back for the third time soon! Meanwhile I took the 400 (combo) with feed dog problems and of course it worked fine in the store. Bought 500 so I could stitch and it did not make it through 3 designs. I got my money back (They said this machine is not for production) I say it should be able to stitch out 3 designs before falling apart! My next machine may not be a brother or babylock!

Good grief//////////I bought a factory reconditioned 400---have only done embroidery-just a few things===worked consistently better than 780d---I'm beginning to BELIEVE that those who supposedly repair have NO IDEA ABOUT EMBROIDERY and ARE NOT ARTISTS!!!!!You only did 3 DESIGNS and it fell apart----ridiculous--praying for you and God bless you!!!!!!
