Go for it, Nadyne! I'm 65, and I think some of the "tribal" designs are very attractive, different, eye-catching. As far as I know, they're just a type of design, I think with the pointy bits and flame-looking parts they may be designed to look like the tattoos some tribal cultures use. Some of these designs are so intricate and beautiful, I think the butterflies on a skirt would be just smashing! You'd get a lot of comments on it, I'm sure. I think they'd be elegant. I think some call the style silhouette, I call stencil. so I do not think it matters. age appropriate? Other than baby designs I do not differentiate. So have fun with it!
