Dear friends, now is the time for me to share with you my hard work 2 weeks ago ...
Yesterday my friend Daniele phoned me and said "okay Sonia, when we get out from the tent dressing the clothes you sewed for us, we had 20-minute of silence and oooohhhh"
The fabric with the eagles, in silk thread was woven by hand in Germany, the clothes are historical reconstructions of the thirteenth century.
Sorry but I am really proud of the result :-)

My friend Daniele is a historical researcher, his dream is to to make an exhibition at the museum with historical costumes. We hope that in the future we can do it

when I saw the picture I was afraid but the fabric was more substantial than I thought! fortunately it was a model that I had already done for them with less valuable tissue

This is sooo beautiful and I only can imagine how many, many hours you must have spent even prior to starting sewing - all the investigations what kind of fabric and which patterns to use - and then the sewing itself. You really have the right to be proud.
There is also beautiful scenery around - maybe an old castle?
By the way: I am from Germany but we visit and revisit our sister town
Dicomano every spring/autumn and I am always happy to see them
in their historical costumes .....
