This is the stitch-out of 1 of 7 designs I made yesterday. The picture does not show the effects the light has on the different stitch directions. I was amazed at how beautiful it looks in real life.

It is once you get the hang of it and know what works and what does not. I realise it takes practice.

Nice work! How did you get the stems looking rather like hand worked stem stitch? (I've tried a few ways but not been pleased with the results.)

In Parameters choose sketch. I used the default settings, but you can make longer stitches, and wider.
I prefer it to very narrow satin stitches.

Lovely...what thread did you use...standard 40wt embroidery thread or other??? The stitches look like they are done by hand....
