Cosmetic Bag and Evening Purse
Designs from threadsnscissors when they were on sale.
For the cosmetic bag, I used a Sunflower Font on one side which coordinates with the design pretty well.
The evening purse is silk dupioni fabric. It didn't come out great as I made some mistakes so it won't be a gift. I'll keep it as my daughter Lily's toy.

They all turned out nice and once you put stuff in the silk bag and fill it out it should look fine as I can't see what mistake you are talking about.
