Skirt for Sophie
Sophie is 4 years and 9 months. She's my friend's daughter.
This is a piece of wide and short embroidered panel. I cut off part of the top and used it for the ruffles. Simple elastic waist band.
I used rolled hem on my serger for hemming and 4-thread overlock for construction. I used the sewing machine ruffle foot to make the ruffles. So fast and easy!

This is so cute. I have just been on Pininterest for the first time and was

I do make ruffles with my serger, but you need to use light weight fabric and it may not be gathered enough.
