Can you add a comment area so site browsers can leave a message about each design and suggestions of things they would like available. Make site more interactive possibly. Have a monthly or weekly drawing that browsers register for.

We have had the wettest summer on record and the Farmer's Market vendors are not making the money they normally make. Will hope for a dry weekend so you can try again. You just never know who will show up and want what you have to sell.

I agree try facebook & also where I live we have something called mommy market on-line & people are selling things all the time maybe you can try that too. Check on facebook for listings of this nature or just ask on your facebook page someone could direct you to what is available, best of luck,Hugs Loralye

I do wish you better fortune in the future and will keep you in my prayers.
There may be some hiccoughs with your web site's shopping cart - I tried to test it out and repeatedly got an error message (from PayPal sayining there was a problem and to check with the merchant) when attempting to add a lace bookmark to the shopping cart - you might want to look into this as it might be costing you some sales - never got as far as check-out because could not add the item to the cart - doesn't bother me personally as I was not looking to buy just taking your site for a test drive, but you will need to make sure the addition of small value items to the shopping cart works ok because people, especially first-time customers, will often buy something small first time round to see what kind of service they get before they consider buying higher value items.

Looking at your page objectively, I can see where it would be very attractive to machine embroiderers, but this is not your audience. You are trying to attract people who need someone to make lace for them. Try to focus on how your product would work for the customer...attractive gifts for the wine lover (for wine glass markers) for example. Show pictures of the items in use, if possible. IE, put the wine glass markers on a wine glass and put that in a prominent spot on your page. Picture a bookmark lying across a page in a book, etc. Most people wouldn't know how to use the items shown in your pictures. Your work is not featured currently, your story is. I love your work (once I found it). Please don't take offense, this is the same advice I would give my students. Good luck always.

Thank you all for your comments - I hope that things change and I am able to make some changes - I will use your advice and do what I can with the site - I have one more big event at the Harvest Moon at Farmer's Market on September 21st. This upcoming weekend - I will be having a yard sale, I hope that generates some help. I love and appreciate each of you.

I too have a small embroidery business. In these Arkansas Ozark mountains we have several county fairs, and small town festivals.
Can you access any of that type of Venue?
