In my world, they are both the same! These are large so maybe they would fall under mug rug.
I had never heard of a "mug rug" till I met CUTE. Seriously!

I plan to stitch these also. Yours turned out great! Did they stitch quickly? I think they would make great gifts.Add Christmas fabric for the back and they would make great holiday gift. Kay
