Not a very big project, but it is my beautiful granddaughter in her purchased outfit that I put her name onto. At 13 months old you can put names on childrens clothing without worry as you certainly don't let them out of your sight in public.

What age is best to STOP putting names on kid's clothes?
I know it is for security of the child---
Hope someone can help.....
Thank you.

The purpose behind NOT putting names on clothing is so that the child will not be called away by a stranger who "knows" their name by reading it on the article of clothing. I guess the point at which you trust your child to be out of your site for over a minute or two is the point that you would stop using whole names and use initials.

How beautiful (both dress and model)! The name on her dress just finishes the dress off. A very nice job, well done.

It looks lovely, although I'm not a fan of adding children's names to clothing. However, statistics show that most bad things that happen involve a person they already know so perhaps I'm unnecessarily paranoid.

Very cute, both dress and GD!! Maybe the name was a little project, but the long-term project was having and raising the kid that gave you this most perfect "present", hee hee hee. Is this what makes it all worth it? Hugs, Marji

Beautiful child. Do they call her Penny? I can not imagine her to even saying Penelope.
