what fabric do you use to make a eyeglass case?

Almost anything! But I use curtain interlining a lot for support with cotton fabric.

If it is lined I use microfiber (I think it may also be known as minky fabric)as it will not scratch the glasses.

I have used cotton and blends but I use a heavy layer of stabilizer to give it body. Have fun making eye glass cases.

I use quilters cotton. The design I use has quilting so it is folded over cotton with batting in the middle so it has pretty good stability that way.
