yes your instructions say 4 inches x1-1/4 but u need 6 pieces an easy fix!! i only cut 4 not 6 but it was my thick brain lol

Yes, you need six strips...each strip is 4" x 1-1/4"...one strip for each side of the coaster....if you still have a problem with the next one, PM me...we'll figure it out together...
Your coaster is 5 inches wide so you should use at least 6 inches or more so you don't have to stress about perfect placement, yes?
