Hi Carolyn...not sure why your borders are so narrow...but if you are having trouble with the side that you hand stitch closed...I try to cut that side "fatter" when I trim...see the photos below...all of the other sides should all come out the same width...when you turn the ends in to hand sew, you can measure and make sure they are the same width as the others and this is easier to do if you have some excess fabric...hope this helps...if not, I can make the borders bigger for you...

Mine look like that but it misses sewing the last round ,i have it on the line to,what am i doing wrong?? so i half to do it myself???I need or like the Wide borders to:):)
