I have been taking sewing classes this week from my Porcelain doll teacher. She comes over to my house (I'm not driving yet) every day this week & brings all her supplies She has an industrial sewing machine with I think 10 spots for thread (it might even be more) WOW. anyway I digress with her help I have made bloomers (easy) for each of my dolls & will be making them each a new dress too. This is Giggles & hers it the first dress & it was not really as hard as it looks the dress is all made (except the sleeves)& then the hem line is marked & stitched so that it has a perfect (well almost) scalloped hem on the whole dress. I can't tell you the name of the design because it is made by her & for her business only. It is a very pale yellow dress difficult to see in the picture but a better show of colour with the bloomers. The hem is done in just 2 hoopings. The dress is just a bit big for her but its the one that I chose & I'm afraid to take it in as the hem will get messed up. So this is the way it will stay. I can wash it to shrink but too nervous to do that too. I messed up the button holes & only used one layer of stabilizer so they are puckered.
Hugs, Angel
