I too have downloaded from embroideryfriend and haven't had any problems. Haven't sewn any of them out, however.

I have been D/L all of the above sites and other than color changes that I prefer haven't had any problems!!

I've used the first two without a problem. Not familiar with the last one.

I have many designs from these sites but found some to be corrupted and others of poor quality. So I haven't visited them recently. To bad since thy have some cute artwork.

I have gotten designs from all three. My computer virus program (I have Avast) will not let me go into embroideryisfree it tells me it wants to put trojans on my computer it won't even let me look. I have not had any trouble downloading the other 2.

I have had a problem with Embroideryfriend.com at one time. I went to the site and my security kept going nuts and shuting down the site to my computer. It would show it had a virus and poof..my computer shut down. Since I have had so many problems with my computer crashing because of viruses, I just stay away from any that I do not know about. The free designs are not worth losing my computer to a repairman!Sweet embroidery is one that crashed my computer at one time so I stay away from it although many here still go there daily and have had no problems. At the time, I had Norton but my son has installed 3 different ones on my computer now and it updates nightly

this is a very old post(june 2008) but in case cuties want to know I have never had any problems with these site, nor was my virus alert warning me for these.

Yes this is a old post BUT I have used theses sites without problems, though not recently. I have found that I need to check the designs carefully and some of them are totally rubbish and then others are very good.

Many of the designs are really poorly digitized and corrupt.I've deleted all for all three sites and will never download from any again. The last time I went to one several months ago, my virus protection software went nuts.
There are too many good sites to visit and these three are not worth the effort in MHO.
