I am using a design I digitized for some of the quilting on a quilt I am finishing for Habitat for Humanity. It is a karate themed quilt and so I digitized the kanji for karate and am using that four times in each block. I'll post a picture when I am finished. It's not easy to machine embroider on a twin sized quilt! Any tips or hints?

Yes.Plenty of tacking and work on a large table so your quilt does not fall over the edge and drag down. But you already knew that, didn't you, Actually I have been playing around with an easy way to quilt each block separately before you join them together.E-mail me if you are interested and I will try to exlain it.

I've just finished a caserole holder and pot-mits with native birds embroidered on them, along with some bookmarks as gifts. Now I must get on and finish my daughters poncho she has been (not so) patiently waiting for ;)

I stitched out the applique lambs, just out of curiosity. They stitch out beautifully, like all Cute designs. They end up in the bunch of stitch-outs, due to be sewn into a quilt. One of these days... I just made two totes and need to do a couple of bibs. Keeps me nicely indoors, although the garden is crying out for some TLC. :-)

I haven't done anything today Mickey but go to town & the bank & that takes a while, then I get out of the mood to do anything by the time I get back. I did do some flowers 4 the cemetery & burnt the heck out of my fingers with hotglue. Been using it every since it's been out, first time to get burned bad.
I try to keep flowers on deceased husbands grave all the time.

I have actually gotten a couple of things done. I tried an embossed alphabet letter, a couple of bookmarks and an ensumble for a neighbor that got our mail and papers while on vacation. I used the 4th of July theme. Made a t-shirt with stars, a hand towel and my very first try at doing a design on toilet paper!!! Hope to take pictures soon and post.

I'm actually making equipment covers for my dh's organs and amplifiers so they won't get dinged up when moving for concerts and etc. Adding his name and some musical symbols all over. Doesn't look to bad if I say so myself.

Sanded down the woodwork on my boat and gave it one layer of varnish. Discovered the outboard had been stolen, cable snipped and battery dead as it shorted. Even a second hand one is more expensive than insurance money (if any). Drove there and back. Now catching up here and getting cheered up.
