I have been wanting to make an apron for a while now & after seeing the wonderful job that Jerri did I decided it was time to get on it. So I made this one & didn't have a pattern ( no surprise there LOL) but I did search the net for a few & I wanted a scalloped edge so I use a dinner plate to make this one. & I like the bib with the ruffle too, but I am stuck on the pocket & not sure what to go with so I am looking for suggestions on the pocket. Should I use the top fabric & make is square? Should I embroidery some apples & what fabric or will that make it too busy? I am stuck

I should mention that I used the same red fabric on the back of the scallops so when you move you will see the red. Gives it more of a chearie look. Maybe I should make a scalloped pocket too out of the red?

Love the scallops..good job. Perhaps just a white pocket with your embroidery...that way it would really show up...

Love the scalloped bottom I also like the white with embroider, Or the using top fabric not too big for pocket or pockets shaped as apple sewn on or heart, or Square. Know you will make good choice. How do you ask? Well this ........ is already very good looking with your creativity.

Great job Loralye, I love what you have done. I would make the pocket in the top fabric and maybe make the top scalloped to match the bottom of the apron. Thiank you for the nice compliment, it means a lot.
Hugs Jerri
