Decisions...decisions ... I have Master Works II as my software for digitizing. (I find it very confusing and intimidating) I just completed a Test Drive for Generations digitizing software and WOW....Amazing!

Does anyone have either of these softwares???
Generations is offering to purchase my MasterWorksII software and have me pay the difference. (plus all kinds of extras-classes, thread pkg, etc)
I need your thoughts on WHAT to do. ???????

I can't comment on either specifically...but what I have learned is it's more about the training support you have or can get...I think most people are unhappy with their software because they don't really know how to use it fully...and buying another program will not really help very much if you can't get thorough training and support...so if Generations fits the bill, I say do it...but whatever you decide, I think having classes or webinar lessons are a must...

Generations offers numerous webinar lessons on all aspects of the program (also Holly and Larry Pike from ATW offeres lessons and webinars) ... MasterWorksII comes with a 250 page User Guide ??? Difficult to locate answers to issues at hand....I really have to sit down and read about 3 Chapters to locate what to do...by that time I'm distracted or disgusted with the whole thing...hehehhe

User friendly plus? Go for it!
Check Artistic Threadworks, They buy your software, sell you the Generations software so you pay only the difference, plus help you learning it. Holly Pike is a great teacher. To me it seems a great proposition. They also offer the best pupils to digitize for their website.
