I bought the professional 4d husqvarna on ebay and I came the dongle but I have the key to make the program work and do not know how to do! the person who me sold it what I inherit and knows no key! anyone can help me? live in the U.S. recently, excuse my English. Normally there is a loose page included with the software called Product License Code with a series of numbers and alpha letters and you need this as it has to be entered when you load the software onto your computer and the person who sold you the software should have included it with the dongle and the software, without the key - license code the software is useless. Perhaps you could contact Husqvarna Viking for help, I had to once and they did help, but they do get a little high handed as they do not like people buying their products second hand products.

Sorry meant to include this - the product code or key you are looking for would porobably have at least 15 digits or more, search everything you received.
I agree with kazza. You need to contact the person you bought it from for the paper that provides the license code for the product. Perhaps they just forgot about the paper work. We tend to file things like that away and forget about it since you don't normally need it unless you run into a problem.

Inside the computer disk (the CD that you use to download the programme) there should be a little booklet that's about 4 inches by 4 inches. On the front there should be the registration key number and as the others have said it's about 15 characters long. I do hope you get some luck. Love Chris

youtube the name of you machine and see if there is a video on it. Or go to the manufacture web site and look there. Enjoy the machine

4D is not the machine, it's the software.

You really need the paper with the Product License Code, without it the programme can not be installed, dongle or no dongle. For every version of the Husqvarna software I have had over the years it comes on a separate A4, not in the instruction booklets for the separate modules.
When you insert the CD and follow the install wizard it asks at a certain point to type in the code. Then you just follow the instructions.
Your seller should supply it or take the programme back - you really need both the dongle and the license code to install it and get it to work.
