Well I am in my new building or at least I am moving all my stuff into it, going through and organizing everything. lower cabinets and cutting table are not in yet but I have shelves been folding fabric and placing stock in containers, this is going to make my life so much easier. can't wait till everything is in and in order. The last pic is a bunch of office stuff someone just gave me, don't think I will ever buy a pad of paper or sticky note again LOL

Extra nice. You deserve it. I tell myself "To me from me with love. I owe it to myself and no one is depriving me of it." This is not a bad thing. Hubby knows I need my singing and sewing to be a whole person and he never complains.

Wow this looks great. Isn't it a miracle that we move into a bigger room and still could need even more space for our stuff? ;o)
How does it look from the outside now? In my imagination it is a neat little countryhouse (maybe with roses beneath the door?).
Greetings, Bettina

I actually had no room, we moved and I lost it, there was a small area we were hoping to use but it just held everything and not even all my machines could be home, have to pick up 2 more from being stored and friends and family LOL the outside is still not complete, he is working on the siding and needs to build the porch, I was more worried about getting in and organized before the fall and winter, I have so much to sort. I am almost through 400 comic book boards of material only 600 more to fill LOL

Congrats! Just a tip here: make sure your lighting is turned away from the fabric stash otherwise it can fade them. Hugs ** Loralye

Great job. I hope you are heavily insured for all that stuff or have a good security system set up.
Nice to have every sorted and it its right place. I am so jealous, but then looks like you have a business going and mine is just for fun.

Great organisational skills Michele. It's great to be able to have the room to do this isn't it? Make sure you keep your threads out of the light too. Love Chris

Thanks I do like organized and so happy to finally have it that way, I always keep my threads in draws they dust up to much if not. you always use certain colors and the others sit for long times sometimes, so don't want all that dust on them but thanks :)

I keep mine in plastic drawers that are semi-opaque, so I cut a little side rectangle of cardboard on the sunny side of the drawers, "just in case". It's overwhelming to think of what we have invested in all that. Lovely that you have this beautiful place now to sew.

yes I will, so glad it was done early enough, I was dreading to have to do it in the cold weather, at one time it looked like I wasn't going to get in until later in the season.
I have 2 6 needles and love them, so much easier after a single for years, I was lucky and found them local at fantastic prices

I have started a pile of things that need to be finished before hand. I have hated that items would get stuffed away and I couldn't find it again to finish LOL not anymore. thanks
