PESKY FLIES...it finally rained here...there are sooooo many fires going on in our region...not enough to put them in control..anyway sitting here trying to enjoy down time before I head to work and I have this pesky fly...does anyone know of a good way to get rid of them except killing one at a time?

I was just looking at electronic fly swatters, It may still be one at a time, however the zap may make up for it! Lol!

We live on a farm so get lots of flies. If you go to a Rural Supply shop, ask for spay that you can use. There are some which come in a spray-can and have an automatic timer [you buy this separately, then get re-fill cans]. There are some which are suitable for indoors and for outdoors (for Pig sheds etc). The indoor ones work well.

My mom used to get a long strip of paper treated with a yellow sticky substance that was before the Electric Bug Zappers. It worked well and there wasn't any toxic spray or the sound of bugs getting zapped. Looked it up and it is still around called: Sticky Fly Tape Then there are the Venus Fly Trap plant.

No matter how many flyscreens we have on our doors and windows we all have they still seem to sneek in .Shooing flies outdoors in Australia is called the Great Aussie Salute. Hugs Joyce
