SNOWMAN PLATEHOLDER NUMBER 3 - these designs are from Birdhouse Cottage Crafts, bought at Secrets of Embroidery's site.

I ironed the fluffy bits and it looks much better than when it came out of the sewing machine, but I got a bit too close with the iron and have melted some of the thread and it's broken it, so I'll go over it with my normal sewing machine's satin stitch.

Love and blessings Chris

I love this one and color but I know you will top it and I will love next one more. You do got a wonderful built in color wheel.

Hi Mary, yes, I'll sew over it to just ensure it doesn't unravel! I have always had a good sense of colour, must have come from my mother. Love Chris

Amy has it too!

Very cute snowmen. It must be poly thread that melted, and is this made with felt?

Hi Chris, thanks and yes, it was Polyester. Yes, it is made with felt. It's great to hold your plates with when hot/cold. I've just put woollen batting in between. These are not POT HOLDERS where you need INSULBRITE, these are just to hold your plates when taking them to and from your table. Love Chris

Picture of thread that melted on my Snowman. Maybe I should have used Rayon. My Brother machine loves this thread and it's great, it's just that iron didn't like it! Love Chris
