NUMBER 4 SNOWMAN PLATE HOLDER - this is the last in the series and now I've just got to make 4 more.

I crinkled the felt when ironing this one - I had turned the iron on not realising that I had it on cotton from doing some ironing yesterday and voila! it crinkled, so I've stretched it out as much as I could and then pressed it on wool. It's come out better than I thought it would, so I'll just leave it now.

Off to Mum's to help her cull her wardrobe - Spring starts here on Sunday (Father's Day for us Aussies) and she has SO MANY CLOTHES!!!!!

Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia

Thanks Loralye, yes Father's Day here on September 1st. It's been 3 years since my Dad died - he died on Father's Day 2010. Those years have flown by.

So looking forward to Spring, you can feel it in the air and my Kookaburras have returned to our Gum tree at the back of our house. Just love Springtime. Love Chris

Really cute idea. A plate holder? How big can the plate be?
I really love your design.

It is actually for picking up the plate..like a mini pot holder.

Thanks Jerri, you are right. It's just a plate holder that I've made in the 5x7 hoop. You can hold any sized plate in it so you won't burn your fingers, or get them cold. Love and blessings Chris

Thanks Martine, I've still got the Snowmen that will be scattered on the table. I've only done 2 of those so far and they are really stitch intensive. I'll get them finished eventually! Love Chris
