Can u split a design like this so small hoop people can use/do/make it???

From what I understand you can use a smaller hoop and work one side then re hoop it and match the center to the marking that is stitched after the first side stitches. I have to sew one side first and turn the hoop around to sew the other side. The only difference is with my mega hoop I don't have to unhoop the fabric.
