Update ... I am sad for my sister.... I had to put down her 16 year old cat yesterday. She is heartbroken she could not go. Mimi was ill for a while with thyroid condition. We have managed to keep her going for a while now. But the last three days she stopped eating and was sick. It is not a job I wanted to do but I will do anything for my sisters. I just hope it does not put a pause in my sisters recovery.

My condolences to Annette. It is bad enough that she has just begun recovering from her 2nd knee replacement surgery on the same knee. To lose Mimi too is just plain awful.

What a terrible time for this to happen. My little dog is also not well at the moment and I am dreading the day I have to put him down. My thoughts are with your sister - and for you. Your sister is very lucky to have you. Hugs Sarah.

Oh Suzanne, my heart breaks for you & your sister. You know you did the right thing for her furbaby, and timing is never good for this to happen, but I can only imagine how overwhelmed she is and how terrible it was for you....God Bless you for having the strength to help out this kitty and for being there for your sister. You are both in my prayers!!

PRAYERS FOR YOUR SISTER AND YOU...the timing may not be right for you and it hurts, however everything is in the LORDS hands and his timing is his own...One day things will be different and there will be no more sorrow....

Amen to that. He has been handling it well so far. I think it helped she did not see her cat go. She jsut remembers her alive. Suzanne

Vicki has said it so well, You are a good sister and friend and I know that your presence in your siblings lives is a blessing. I pray for you and your sister, and send a prayer for those who do not have anyone, that they may find solice and comfort.
