SNOWMAN 5 & 6 PLATE HOLDERS. The hot pink and purple one was done last night and I've just finished the orange one. Boy, are these fiddly to do, but don't they look wonderful? I know they will be a big hit. Done in the 5x7 hoop.

I learned my lesson and didn't iron them as they are made of felt and my iron is always on cotton. I crinkled the first one! So now I'm using WSS in the hoop instead of tear-away and that way I don't get the little bits of tear away! I'm blunting my curved embroidery scissors cause the felt is thick in some places, need a new pair!

The designs were bought from Birdhouse Cottage Crafts at Secrets of Embroidery.

Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

The designs are wonderful, you can set your cup down and still see the snowman. I hear you on the scissors, I tried to cut a needle a ways back and mine have not been the same since. Lol!

These are actually plate holders Chris. You put your thumb under the mouth area of the head and it folds in half. A very clever idea. Love Chris

Definitely, using the WSS makes it much easier as it just melts away when I wet it. I've learned my lesson and am not using the iron! Love Chris
