FSL - Sue box design. Done in 2 parts. Stitching time more than 4 hours and more than 120 000 stitches. Despite the time it really is a great design to stitch out and I will definitely do it again.

What will you change? How you stitch it together? It is beautiful.

wow it looks lovely as all her work is...good on you, they now say not to wash the stuff away until after you stitch them together, did you do that. I have some fsl done which has to be sewing together, nervous about stitching it together.

I have found if you cut one side close to your work, and the other with a 1 eight edge or slightly more, of wash away Vilene left. Then but the edges together the larger edge on the bottom. Using a triple stich [ it is one of your zig-zag stiches] making sure your design matches up, it will come out perfect. I then wash it out with hot water and lay the lace on a towel the same colour, I have always had a good result

Such a lovely doily you've made& quite a lot of stitches too. Sue box designs are quite delicate. About how long would you say it took from starting your machine till all done? Thanks for sharing this project. :~D

Very pretty, well done. Sue box is worth the money , I have bought cheep designs that the lace does not mesh so it ends up in the bin. three cheers Heather
