Place Mat #1 for Mother-in-Law
She requested new ones matching her dining room. I finally found this fabric with the blue of her walls and brown of her furniture.
I'll make 8, hopefully all different. This is the easiest one because the center design is not so complicated.
I digitized the shape and piecing stitches with Embird and added this design which is a built-in design for 8*14 hoop. The lining was attached with sewing machine. Finally I stitched in the ditch.
If you are interested, I'll upload the blank place mat center with quilting stitches. You can add your own design or leave it as it is.
